Major General Dr Abdelkarim Khawaldeh is a dubiety of the Director General of the Royal Medical Services, Military, multispecialty health care organization based in Jordan. The Royal Medical Services own a 20 different major hospitals in Jordan dedicated to provide an excellent health service to the military personnel and their families as well as civilian citizens.
Dr Khawaldeh is a distinguished senior consultant endocrinologist at King Hussein Medical Center- Royal Medical Services in Amman- Jordan. He has received his bachelor's degree from Aristotalio University of Thessalonica-Greece in 1975. Then he was trained as internal medicine resident at the Royal Medical Services from 1978 – 1983. He got his Diploma in Endocrinology, University of London on Oct 1993. Afterward, Dr Khawaldeh received the Jordanian Board of Endocrinology.
Among his many professional affiliations are memberships of the Royal College of Physicians, Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of London.
Dr Khawaldeh served as Chief division of Endocrine and Chairman of internal medicine at King Hussein Medical Center. He is a past chief division of professional & training , then director, Prince Hashim Bin EL-Hussein Hospital and afterward General Director Assistant for Medical Affairs – Royal Medical Services. Along with his administrative responsibilities, he continues to work as a physician and teacher. He is an assistant professor of medicine at University of Jordan. He has authored multiple scientific articles.
